About Delma Woods

Over the course of the last five years, Delma Woods has been a Featured Model for Author Phree in a Poetry Show; which was the start to her modeling career. She was a Cover Model for 2xposu Magazine,and published in Curvy Connect Magazine, BTFL Magazine, Queen Size Magazine, and FabUPlus Magazine’s Model Monday. Her work included being featured on Swimsuits For All’s Gallery, as well as showcasing garments for four other Boutique websites. Delma Woods is an educated Surgical Technologist, with dreams to bring something to Charleston that was needed and to be fully immersed in fashion. Her vision became a reality when she decided to “Boss Up” and launch her very own Del Woods Modeling Agency, LLC., in January 2017. From Model to CEO/Owner, Delma’s vision includes making sure that her Models are getting the proper training, that she didn’t receive in the beginning stages of her Modeling Career, and to allow them the opportunity for first picks on numerous Model Calls.

Del Woods Consulting caters to Models size 0-3X; allowing them the opportunity to gain exposure in the fashion industry. Delma Woods has been a featured Plus Panel Speaker for the Crusade of Curves 2018, located in Raleigh, NC, as well as a Sponsor. Ms. Woods has played a major role in the fashion industry, to include the success of putting on the 1st Annual Charleston Fashion Experience, in 2017. The Charleston Fashion and Vendor Expo held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in May 2018, was a phenomenal experience for Delma Woods because it allowed her the ability to feature all of her signed Models who ripped the runway wearing garments from Soul2Sole Boutique of Mt. Pleasant, SC. In June 2018, Delma Woods has been a featured Sponsor for Gwen DeVoe’s Signature Event – Full Figured Fashion Week, in NY, as well as a featured Sponsor and Panelist for Aqila Benjamin's Netwerq Your Ass Off Tour Stop hosted in NY.  Ms. Woods was interviewed as a Model Consultant and was able to bring SC to NY to make the necessary connections needed in the Modeling Industry. She was on the panel at LOFT when they brought Plus Sizes in store. Morph Clothing asked her to be a model for their company on the website; also on Fox Charleston.

 

Delma Woods' most recent work includes being Brand Ambassador for Fully Stylish Boutique and KMoni Beaty, as well as Brand Ambassador for Jose' Pagan's 2019 Photo Tour.  As Coco Chanel would say, “Everyday is a Fashion Show and the World is your Runway!” Delma Woods is definitely leaving her mark.
